Not on someone else's. Your files stay on your disk, your models run on your own hardware, and the machines you own talk to each other directly.
Folders you choose are encrypted on disk and stay that way. Other programs get access only when you say so, one at a time.

Pair it once by scanning a code. From then on it talks to your own computer, encrypted end to end.
Your work never goes to a server, so there is no account holding it. The one exception is buying tokens, which needs somewhere to put them — and you only need that if you want to use the shared network.
Windows will warn you. The installer isn't signed with a paid certificate yet, so you'll see a blue “Windows protected your PC” box. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Install the app, then open Icarus on your computer and scan the pairing code. The app will offer to install your computer's certificate — tap yes, or your phone won't trust it.
Running Icarus on your own computer is free. If you want jobs to run on the shared network instead, that is what tokens and plans are for.
You'll need an invite code to finish setting up. Ask for one — we're letting people in a few at a time while it's new.
Not yet. Running it on our machine means your work would live there too, and that isn't ready to be safe for strangers sharing one box. It's being built properly rather than quickly.
So that the first people in get looked after, and so problems are found at a scale where they can be fixed.
Your computer issues its own, so your phone can trust it directly without anyone in the middle. You can download it and install it by hand.
